Start Of Something New

I was so sad last Thursday morning... the reason? My bosses informed me that they have reached a decision to transfer me to another account because of my stagnant CSAT scores. In short, I'm out of TWC already... =(

Honestly, I'm sad not because I'll be leaving the account, like what told them, I don't care about the account. The reason why I'm sad and cried a lot is because I'll be leaving the people who became dearest to me, my teammates and friends. They play an important role in my life and also motivates me to go to work. But that's the way it is, as said in one of Celine Dion's songs. I was able to formally say good bye to most of them, I just send a text message to others who weren't there and they were somewhat shock because it is so unexpected. For me, I wasn't shock at all because good thing, I set expectations to my self before hand and thanks to my boss who gave me a heads up on this.

I will always cherish the wonderful times that we had, Team Dada. And as I open another chapter of my life with Optus, my new account, I'm hoping that I can excel and make all of you proud in the end. I'm also excited for new friends and teammates... =)

Getting Cheesy With Love

It's February already and we are just counting the days for Valentine's. As we get closer to February 14, I just noticed that a lot people are getting cheesy and pa-sweet to the highest level in expressing their love for their significant others. Haaaaayyyyy... they're so much in love!!! Some say that when you're in love, the feeling is Cloud 9!!! It's different and amazing, the result, they tend to utter phrases about anything and everything under the sun which is connected to love... And with this, I just remember the movie, "My Amnesia Girl" by John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga which featured some of the cheesy love quotes being used by Filipinos nowadays. So, let's get cheesy with these Cheesy Love Quotes:

Sa dinami-raming salita sa mundo,
pero ikaw lang ang gusto ko!!!

Napaka isip bata mo ..
so childish!
so immature !
gusto mo gawin nalang kitang ....
BABY KO???

"May Farmville ka ba??? Kasi pati puso ko na-harvest mo na..."

"Mag-impake ka na, pupunta tayo sa home for the Aged... coz I
wanna grow old with you."

"Pwede bang ikaw nalang ang driver ko? ... coz your driving me crazy"

"Geometry ba ang favorite subject mo? Kasi kahit anong angle, ang ganda mo eh."

"May kilala ka bang gumagawa ng sirang relo? Sira ata ang relo ko eh... kasi parang tumitigil ang oras pag kasama kita"

"Science has proven that sugar melts in water. So don't pls walk in the rain... otherwise I lose such a sweet person like you. "

"Minsan gusto kitang patirin...

I think it's okay to be  cheesy... 'wag lang OA! There's a lot more out there because Filipinos are creative and we can create new cheesy quotes in an instant.... Enjoy!!! =)

Unconditional Love

There is one kind of love that you don't need to set expectations and regret it in the end. That is what we call "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE". As defined in Wikipedia, it is a term that means to love someone regardless of the loved one's qualities or actions. The paradigm of unconditional love is a mother's love for her newborn. It is often used to describe the love in an idealized romantic relationship. It may sometimes also be used to describe love between family members, comrades in arms and between others in highly committed relationships.

The bible speaks about unconditional love in I Corinthians 13, and the saying goes:

"1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

Unconditional love can be considered as real love. To love someone unconditionally means that you love the person exactly as they are, exactly as they were before, and exactly as they will be in the future – because people change all the time, so if you love the person, you will love them even if they become something you disagree with.

We need to consider six ways to show unconditional love:

1) Rather than ask what a person does for a living, inquire instead what evokes joy and contributes to a meaningful life.
2) Rather than value people based on what they do, opt instead to love and accept them because they exist as they are.
3) Rather than live your life to please others, choose instead to grow to understand and learn what it is to please yourself.
4) Rather than do what is conditioned or expected, swallow your pride or fear and choose instead to do what feels right.
5) Rather than criticize, reprimand and emprison the mind, decide instead to boost esteem and praise freedom.
6) Rather than highlight drawbacks of loss, mistakes and failure, concentrate instead on the benefits of all experience.

Show and make the special people around feel our unconditional love... =)

Temptation Of Wife: Review

When Koreanovela was introduced in our country, Filipinos have gone gaga over them. Mostly, their storylines would include romance, drama, revenge, rags to riches theme, fantasy and action that is why Filipinos can easily relate to these kind of shows. A lot of Koreanovelas can be considered a hit in the Philippines like "Full House" and Korea's version of F4 which is "Boys Over Flowers".

But one Koreanovela caught my attention nowadays. This is Temptation Of Wife which is being aired in GMA 7 every weekday afternoons. It stars Jang Seo Hee as Goo Eun Jae, the main protagonist and Kim Seo Hyung as Shin Ae Ri, the main antagonist.

At first, I was wondering why the title of the show is "Temptation Of Wife", but after watching some episodes in GMA 7 and DVD, i finally understand. It was a story of a wife's revenge and tempation to his husband and the people who made her life and her family miserable.

What I like most: The story is about two women who has their own principles in life. They both have courage, although it was executed in a different manner. Some of the scenes are funny like Jung Gyo Bin(Marcel Jung in Filipino dubbed version) and Jung Ha Neul (Madel Jung) acting was a comic relief. The second character of Jang Seo Hee which is Min So Hee (Chantal Min) shows women empowerment. The character of Shin Ae Ri facial expressions are so precise (Bravo!!!).

What I like least: There are a lot of episodes.... whhaaaaaaaahhh!!! =$

I so love this Koreanovela!!! =)
