Best J.S. Prom Songs

Since it's the season for love, many schools are having their J.S. Prom Night. This can be considered as one of the highlights in one's high school life. Students really prepare, find the best dress and partner for that night. Do you still remember how your J.S. Prom went through when you were still in high school? Still remember the songs that made you ask your partner to have a dance with you? If you don't, let me refresh your mind by giving you my top five J.S. Prom songs.

5. Wonderful Tonight - a song written by Eric Clapton. It was included on Clapton's 1977 album Slowhand and released as a single the following year. Clapton wrote the song about Pattie Boyd, and it is mentioned in her autobiographical book Wonderful Tonight: George Harrison, Eric Clapton, and Me. The song was a modest hit upon its release, charting at #16 in the US and #30 in the UK.

4. Valentine - is the title of a song co-written and recorded by American adult contemporary artist Jim Brickman, with a guest vocal from Martina McBride. It first appeared on his 1997 album Picture This, and later on McBride's album Evolution.

3. It Might Be You - is a popular song with music written by Dave Grusin, and lyrics written by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. It was performed by singer/songwriter Stephen Bishop in the 1982 film, Tootsie, starring Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lange. Bishop's recording peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on May 7, 1983, and spent eight weeks in the Top 40. It also spent two weeks at No. 1 on the adult contemporary chart in April the same year.

2. More Than You'll Ever Know - is a song written and recorded by country music artist Travis Tritt. It is the lead-off single released from his 1996 album The Restless Kind. It peaked at #3 in the United States, and #7 in Canada.

1. King And Queen Of Hearts - this song was sung by David Pomeranz. It is the most commonly used J.S. Prom song being played once the King and Queen Of The Night are being announced and have their dance moment.

It's really nice reminiscing J.S Prom more if you have good memories of it. There's a lot more songs being played in this event but I consider the five listed above the best! ♥♥♥
